Tai Tong Ah Company Pte Ltd (\u5927\u4e1c\u4e9a\u79c1\u4eba\u6709\u9650\u516c\u53f8) manufactures high quality traditional Chinese medicinal products under the \u201cDouble Prawn\u201d (\u53cc\u867e\u6807) brand.<\/p>\n

History<\/h5>\n

Tai Tong Ah was founded by the late Mr Yeoh Liew Kung, an experienced Chinese physician, who came to Singapore from South China in the 1930s. The business started in the 1950s when Mr Yeoh produced the first few bottles of Double Prawn Herbal Oil in his home using a secret formulation passed down from his ancestors. The product proved to be a hit with users because of its great efficacy in treating a range of common injuries and skin diseases.\u00a0 As word spread, Mr Yeoh and his wife decided to start a company to produce Herbal Oil and several other TCM products.\u00a0 Today, the company that he founded, Tai Tong Ah Company Pte Ltd, has 3 main products under the Double Prawn brand – Herbal Oil (\u9752\u8349\u6cb9), Rumagon (\u98ce\u6e7f\u6cb9), and the latest being HuoLuo Oil (\u795b\u98ce\u6d3b\u7edc\u6cb9).<\/p>\n

Facility<\/h5>\n

Tai Tong Ah has come a long way since the early days when production was done by hand at home by Mr Yeoh, his wife, and children. Over the years, automation was gradually introduced and quality control processes put into place. The company moved into its first factory in Genting Lane in 1979 and then relocated to Pasir Panjang Industrial Park in 1993. 14 years later, the company moved to the Tai Seng Industrial Estate in Oct 2007 and received certification for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) from the Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) in 2008. Due to the redevelopment plan of Tai Seng Industrial Estate, the company relocated to its own property at Kaki Bukit View in Dec 2018 and received GMP certification in less than 6 months.<\/p>\n

Tai Tong Ah is committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We use principles of modern scientific processing in combination with the traditional formulation of Chinese medicines in our manufacturing processes. Quality assurance is implemented throughout the entire production process, following the best practices of GMP. Our products are therefore safe, consistent, and effective. <\/span><\/p>\n

Global Market<\/h5>\n

Double Prawn Brand TCM products are well accepted by consumers in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand and Hong Kong for many years.
