Tai Tong Ah is a small company with just a handful of employees, most of whom are involved in production. Many of them have been with the company for more than 30 years and continued working into their 70s.
In 2013, Tai Tong Ah was invited to participate in the exhibition “Ilhan Alam: Nature and Healing in the Malay World” curated by the Malay Heritage Centre.

Tai Tong Ah participated actively in trade missions organized by Singapore government agencies to explore various overseas markets. In 2008, the company took part in the mission trips organized by the IE Singapore to Taiwan and India.
As the company became more developed, we looked to grow the market into regions and countries further away, such as Hong Kong in the late 70’s and China in the 80’s when it was still a closed country, having obtained the required permit to sell in China.
