In addition to the semi-automation project for the filling process, another major improvement was made around the same time in the 90’s. The company adopted a percolation method for the herbal extraction process, which resulted in a higher quality extract and cut down the turnaround time from 1 month to 2 weeks. All these improvements saw an increase in product yield and paved the way for modern scientific processing.
